RONGOĀ MĀORI

rongoā | mauri | mirimiri | wairua

Rongoā Māori is the oldest health system in Aotearoa.

Rongoā focuses on restoring peace and balance within te whare tapa whā (The four pillars) to not only the individual but whanau (family) and the wider community that surrounds them. As a Rongoā Māori practitioner, my role is to support you when there is an imbalance in the body, mind and/or spirit.

Your body holds a story. We work intuitively and hold sacred space for you to share your story.

We sense what is occurring in the body and in particular, the pathway that has become out of balance. We look at what caused the illness and that means looking at events in your life leading up to the injury, illness or dis-ease. We will work with you in a way that is comfortable for you.

Joanne also offers distant healing and energy work online, allowing you to experience the benefits, regardless of your location.

Before your appointment please fill out

WHAT IS RONGOĀ MĀORI?

Rongoā is sensing. It’s using all of the senses to be able to bring balance into not only the individual but whanau (family) and the wider community that surrounds them. Rongoā is about maintaining balance, knowing and sensing when there is an imbalance in the body, mind and spirit and also within the whanau.
